Since you don't meet your clients face to face, they pay you electronically. We will cover 4 ways:

1. Bitcoin Wallet
Using Bitcoin to pay and get paid is easy and accessible to everyone.
Don't have a wallet yet?
Easy! Every coins.ph account comes with its own wallet address. Just sing up for an account here and you'll be ready to receive Bitcoin right away.
Alternatively, you can open a wallet account with a third-party service such as Blockchain.info, Hive, Multibit, etc ( By Coins Ph ).

2. PayMaya

Smart PayMaya is a mobile payment app that allows users to get an instant virtual prepaid Smart MasterCard that they can use for digital purchases. ( By PayMaya )

3. PayPal

This is the favorite option of clients. You have to create your personal PayPal account using a name that is exactly the same as the name you use in your bank account. Why? Because you're going to link that bank account to PayPal so you can withdraw the payment through your local account.
Can you trust PayPal ? Millions of people do, so it's probably a good bet. But since you're reading this, here's the take: Use PayPal as a tool to get the money to your bank account. Don't leave money in PayPal.
Never keep more than, say $55 in your PayPal account. Immediately withdraw the money to your bank account. After all, it takes three to five banking days before you get it. Keep your PayPal account to a minimum.
The problem with PayPal? Some people have problems creating a PayPal account because PayPal requires you to verify your identity with a credit card or a debit card. Here's the quick answer: Get yourself a Paymaya , Smart Money or a UnionBank EON card and you're good-- even you're an unemployed person.

4. Payoneer

Apply in their website and they will give you an empty debit card that's connected to a US Bank (Click Here To Get Your Payoneer Account For Free). No further requirements. You can use this ATM card in local ATMs to withdraw your money from direct client payments or from oDesk. The problem with Payoneer ? Since Payoneer gave you a US card, every transaction will deduct arround P200 from your balance. The good thing ? There's zero waiting- no three to five days of processing. You get your money immediately. My recommendation is you use PayPal and Bitcoin Wallet regularly but use Payoneer only as a backup. In case your client can't pay you via PayPal, he can use his credit card to pay you via Payooner ( By Jomar Hilario )

What's the Price of Bitcoin Gold? Crypto Traders Still Aren't Sure

From $0 to $2,900 – and seemingly everywhere in between. Bitcoin gold, a new fork of the bitcoin software, may not have been officially launched (or distributed to users), but that isn't stopping the cryptocurrency markets from seeking to determine its potential value (or profiting from its eventual existence). In an interesting twist on a typical distribution, a number of exchanges are now listing a token that represents a claim on the future delivery of bitcoin gold (in advance of it becoming available to all bitcoin users). Ahead of that event, however, traders are seeking to value the asset, which proposes an alternative to the difficulty of competing for rewards on bitcoin's mining network. Still, it's safe to say there's disagreement so far. In interview, analysts expressed a reservation about bitcoin gold, both when speaking about its developer team, and when characterizing the protocol's potential market opportunity. Safiri Felix, a researcher at financ...

So far, around 16.7 million bitcoins have been released into the system, with 12.5 new ones released roughly every 10 minutes via a process called "mining", in which a global network of computers competes to solve complex algorithms in reward for the new bitcoins.  ENERGY DRAIN  These mining computers require a vast amount of energy to run. A recent estimate by tech news site Motherboard put the energy cost of a single bitcoin transaction at 215 kilowatt-hours, assuming that there are around 300,000 bitcoin transactions per day. That's almost enough energy as the average Americ...
